Lasting Memories

at Rhossili Bay

Welcome to the

Gower Peninsula

Discover the beauty of the Gower Peninsula from Pitton Cross Farm, just 2 miles from world-famous Rhossili Bay and steps from the Wales Coast Path. Set within 12 acres of open farmland, our peaceful location offers stunning views, space to roam, and easy access to golden beaches, rugged cliff walks, and the scenic salt marshes of the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, now known as The Gower National Landscape.

Originally a working farm, the property was purchased in 2021 with a vision to blend heritage, nature, and hospitality. Full planning permission was granted in 2023 to convert our traditional outbuildings into six farm-themed holiday lets, each celebrating the history and character of the land. Once complete, Pitton Cross Farm will sleep up to 30 guests across seven units – perfect for extended families, flexible group stays, or a full-site coastal retreat.

Our flagship accommodation, the dog-friendly Farmhouse, sleeps 8 and was fully refurbished following the change of ownership. The Beagle Barn, inspired by our beloved rescue beagles, was the first conversion to open, now joined by Nanna’s Bakehouse, named after Nanna Button, who once baked her bread in the cosy corner of this very barn.
More unique retreats are on the way – including The Milkshake Barn, Bampi Button’s Stable, and Old Saddleback Barn – each thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, charm, and a true sense of place.

Guests travelling with dogs will love our 1.5-acre secure dog park, with plans to open up more enclosed areas within the wider 12-acre site. While parts of the land are still actively farmed, there’s plenty of room to explore, play, and enjoy the fresh Gower air.

At Pitton Cross Farm, we’ve created a relaxed, dog-loving destination where families, walkers, and beachgoers can explore Gower at their own pace and make lasting memories along the way.

Pet-Friendly Holidays at Pitton Cross Farm 🐾

At Pitton Cross Farm, we don’t just allow pets — we welcome them like family. Guests often tell us we’re the most dog-friendly place they’ve ever stayed, thanks to our fully secure gardens, private outdoor spaces, and 1.5-acre dog park. As lifelong beagle owners (and adopters of four rescues from Many Tears), we’ve designed everything with real pets in mind — from stable doors and easy-clean interiors to safe spaces for reactive dogs. And while most of our visitors wag their tails, cats are very welcome too. If you’re looking for a holiday where your pets feel as at home as you do, you’ve found it.
